Francis Ford Coppola due in Turkey for new film

Renowned American moviemaker Francis Ford Coppola, the director of such classics as "The Godfather," and "Apocalypse Now," will arrive in Ankara tomorrow, the Culture and Tourism Ministry said. During his visit, Coppola will work on arrangements to produce a movie shot by a Turkish director on Ottoman history. Coppola is also expected to meet with Culture and Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay and also speak with a group of university students. Coppola won two Best Film Oscars for his "Godfather" series in 1972 and 1974.
