French Senator Nathalie Goulet said that they would meet with officials from Turkey, seeking a solution aimed at pleasing the two sides about the Armenian genocide allegations. Stating that the genocide allegations would be further made a current issue on the 100th anniversary of incidents of 1915, Goulet said that the stance to be displayed by French President Francois Hollande would be also a determinant factor on the issue. Reiterating her objection to Parliaments' rewriting the history, Goulet said that it was not likely that another bill criminalizing the denial of the issue would be brought to the French Parliament.
