Speaking at the Global Energy Strategies Simulation meeting jointly organized by the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) and Stratfor Institute, George Friedman, founder and CEO of the institute, said yesterday that nobody was considering Ankara important ten years ago, but now nobody takes any step without taking Turkey's opinion in the process of solving a problem in the region. Speaking in his part, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Turkey would continue to play a major role in terms of global strategy and energy competition from now on as well. "Turkey has become a major actor in regional and global stability," said Davutoglu.
