Greek Cypriot administration leader Dimitris Christofias yesterday said that if the current peace talks on Cyprus fail, they plan to blame this on Turkey. Speaking at a conference, Christofias said that for the last five months they have been trying to overcome hurdles on the Cyprus issue, adding that he can't promise that these efforts will lead to a solution. He also said, "I won't say the negotiations are going well, but we're defending basic principles."
