Delivering a speech via teleconference at the 3rd Bogazici Regional Partnership Summit, which was organized by the International Cooperation Platform (ICP) on Thursday at the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul, President Abdullah Gul stated that the successful cooperation mechanisms they can put into action in Eurasia would serve as a tangible example for a new and better functioning global order. Reiterating his support for the International Cooperation Platform (ICP) since it was established in 2010 as the reverberation of the need for a regional cooperation at a time when basic balances in the world politics and economy are changing, Gul said, "The ICP has been institutionalized and has succeeded in bringing together statesmen from Eurasia, leading businessmen, representatives of NGOs and local administrators under the same roof."  Gul also expressed his belief that the ICP is making great contributions to the creation of strategic collaborations at all levels to reap the benefits the global economy offers in the best way, adding, "It seems that this process concerning the whole of Eurasia will have reverberations and its influences will stand for years. In this regard, I find this year's theme, 'Reconstructing the Global Order: Potential of Eurasia' quite appropriate."
