Gul receives succesful surgeon Ozkan and his team

President Abdullah Gul yesterday received Akdeniz University's Rector Professor Israfil Kurtcephe, Professor Omer Ozkan, head of the surgical team that has successfully performed Turkey's first face and limb transplantation and his spouse, Assoc. Prof. Ozlenen Ozkan, who lectures at the same university. During the reception at the Cankaya Presidential Palace, Gul said that he was proud of the successful surgery the team had performed. Afterwards, Ozkan attended a ceremony organized by the Health Ministry, in which he was presented the Healthcare Provider of the Year award by Health Minister Recep Akdag.
