Gul receıves Ukraınıan counterpart

President Abdullah Gul yesterday received Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych, who is visiting Turkey on the occasion of the third meeting of the Turkey-Ukraine High Level Strategic Council, with a ceremony at the Cankaya Presidential Palace. Having landed in Ankara on 12:10 pm, Ukrainian President was welcomed by the National Education Minister Nabi Avci and Deputy Governor of Ankara Mehmet Ali Ulutas at Esenboga Airport. Upon the official ceremony at the Cankaya Palace, President Gul and his Ukranian counterpart Yanukovych had a closed door tête-à-tête. Following the meeting, Gul and Yanukovych had a working lunch where the two reportedly focused on the bilateral relations between Turkey and Ukraine.
