Gul set to meet with PM Erdogan, Chief of General Staff Chief Basbug

President Abdullah Gul is set today to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Chief of General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug. Gul reportedly decided that the meeting would help ease the tension arising from former top generals being taken into custody this week under Operation Sledgehammer. Gul is also expected to reiterate his views on resolving tension between institutions and solving problems through dialogue.
