Gul's health condition improving
President Abdullah Gul who remained at a university hospital in Ankara on Thursday after a reoccurring ear illness flared up again during his long flight to Bishkek last week, is likely to be discharged from hospital today or tomorrow, as his health condition is steadily improving, his press office said. Reportedly, Gul is in very good general condition and will return to his normal schedule after leaving the hospital. Gul received phone calls and messages from Azeri, Egyptian, Pakistani, Turkmen, Palestinian, Kyrgyz as well as Iranian and Iraqi counterparts, who wished him quick recovery.
