Heart of Eurasia to beat in Istanbul

16th Eurasia Economy Summit organized by Marmara Group Foundation with the support of Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporter Associations is starting today. The summit held at the Yesilkoy WOW Hotel will bring major players from Eurasia region together. The two-day summit is expected to be attended by six presidents, four parliament speakers, one prime minister, nine former presidents and 20 ministers. Economic developments in Central Asia and Balkans will be discussed in detail during the summit. On the first day, Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek and Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroglu, and visiting presidents will make speeches following the opening speech to be made by Akkan Suver, head of the Marmara Group Foundation. Economy, energy, health and education, culture and ecologic dialog, modernization and women, information technologies and communication, defense industry and security sessions will be held simultaneously following the speeches. The next day, another session titled "One-polar or two-polar world?" will be held with the attendance of presidents.
