Hisarciklioglu honored with Mediterranean leadship award

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Rifat Hisarciklioglu has been honored with the Mediterranean Leadership Award by the American Johns Hopkins University for his contribution to stability and economic cooperation in Southeast Europe. Alongside Hisarciklioglu, the three other awardees were Mohamed Yousef Almagariaf, former Libyan President; U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen and U.S. Congressman Robert Aderholt. “This award was granted upon a review of our projects and what we have done so far. We are glad for the acknowledgement of achievements by Turkish business world. I received the award on behalf of Turkey, TOBB and business world.” said Hisarciklioglu, adding that many projects were succeeded in Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania as well as Bosnia-Herzegovina.
