Iranian Ambassador to Ankara invites Kilicdaroglu to Tehran

Iranian Ambassador to Ankara Ali Riza Bigdeli invited main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu to Iran. Kilicdaroglu held a meeting with Bigdeli at CHP headquarters which was also attended by CHP deputy leader Faruk Logoglu. During the meeting, relations between Turkey and Syria, as well as the situation in Syria and Egypt were discussed. As part of the meeting, Kilicdaroglu said, "Relations between Turkey and Iran are very important and valuable both in regional and international arena. We attach special importance and priority to our relations with Iran and we also know that our bilateral ties are based on rooted history. But we can further strengthen our bilateral ties as well." For his part, Bigdeli said that he agreed with Kilicdaroglu on his views about bilateral ties between the two countries, adding that they would be proud to host them in Iran.
