Ivahvili defines Turkey as a strategic partner of Georgia

Bidzina Ivanishvili, leader of the Georgian Dream Party, which won the latest parliamentary elections in the country on October 1, described Turkey as a strategic partner of Georgia. Stating that there have been strong relations between Turkey and Georgia throughout history, Ivanishvili said that friendly and strategic relations between the two countries should be maximized in fields of commerce and investment as well. "There are many businessmen who set up a business and make investments in Georgia. We should improve this situation," Ivanishvili added.
