Jakarto to take Istanbul as example

Turkey's Ambassador to the Indonesian capital of Jakarta Zekeriya Akcam visited Joko Widodo, newly elected governor of Jakarta, at his office to congratulate him over his new post. During the meeting, Akcam and Widodo exchanged views on a variety of issues, and discussed certain projects of Turkey aimed at opening a school and hospital in Jakarta. Stating that Istanbul is an exemplary city, Akcam said that they were ready for extending all sorts of support to Jakarta. Speaking for his part, Widodo said that he wanted to take Istanbul as a model in the process of reconstructing the city. Furthermore, Widodo was surprised to learn from Akcam that Istanbul and Jakarta are actually sister cities. The meeting was comprehensively covered by media institutions of the two countries.
