The Washington-based Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA) yesterday announced its opposition to a resolution on the so-called Armenian "genocide" allegations now before the US Congress, saying that Congress is not the place to debate the history of other people in other times. The group warned that if the resolution is approved, Turkish-US relations would suffer, adding that this would do nothing to help Turkish-Armenian relations.
