US Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to visit Turkey again this month. This will be Kerry's third visit to Turkey since March 1. A US official said he will be attending the Friends of Syria "core group" to be hosted by Turkey. In his last visit to Turkey, Kerry agreed on establishing a "Syria Core Group" with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu in order to build a "democratic" Syria and push for Assad's ouster, and also to establish humanitarian aid corridors in the country.  Kerry, who paid his first visit to Turkey on March 1 after taking office, met with Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Sunday and discussed Syria, Cyprus and the steps which could be taken about the Middle East peace process. The Friends of Syria core group consists of Turkey, the US, the UK, France, Germany, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
