Justice Minister visits Syrian Turkmens
Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin yesterday visited the tent city in the Yayladagi province of southeastern city of Hatay, where 2,650 Syrian Turkmens fleeing the massacre in Syria are staying. During his visit, Ergin also pinned gold coins onto the dress of some new-born babies, and presented gifts to other children. Stating that a humanitarian plight and a cruel process has been underway on the other side of the border, Ergin said that he hoped peace and order are established in Syria. "We came to our camp in Yayladagi prior to the Ramadan Festival to see how our collaterals live here. I hope our guests will be able to go back home happily and peacefully as soon as possible," Ergin said.
