Keskek added to the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list

The traditional Turkish meat dish, Keskek, was officially added to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List yesterday during the meetings held in the Indonesian city of Bali. A total of 19 items were added into the list among 84 other applications made by other countries. As a result, the number of intangible cultural heritages which were taken under protection by UNESCO has climbed to 232.
