Kosovo invites Turkish investors to participate in privatization projects
Kosovo invites Turkish investors to participate in privatization projects involving telecommunications, tobacco factories, electricity distribution systems and mines. Speaking on the sidelines of the Kosovo-Turkish Business Forum organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) yesterday, Mimoza Kusari Lila, Kosovo's deputy premier and minister of trade and industry, said that Turkey was among the top five countries in the world with the most direct investments in Kosovo. Stating that Turkish businesspeople have considerable interest in investing in Kosovo, Lila said that Turkish entrepreneurs made investments worth 350 million Euros in Kosovo last year and Turkish investors' activities in the Balkans caused European investors to be jealous of Turkey.
