Missiles launched from ıran to Israel can not be hit
Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz on Wednesday disclaimed the allegations that the Patriot defense system has been deployed in Turkey to protect Israel in his briefing for the Parliament about the issue. Yilmaz said it was impossible to hit the missiles launched from Iran to Israel. Stating that in line with Turkey's demands and NATO's decision to support our country, Yilmaz said that Patriot missiles could be used for only defense purposes against air and missile threats from Syria and that they could not be used on a no-flight zone or for an attack operation. Yilmaz added that these measures were aimed to reinforce Turkey's air defense capability and that the missiles and foreign forces would leave when the clashes ended.
