Mobile World congress kicks off in Barcelona
The GSM Association (GSMA) 2013 Mobile World Congress kicked off in Barcelona yesterday to run until February 28. Along with some 20 leading GSM companies from Turkey, the congress will be attended by the Istanbul Chamber of Trade (ITO) and Transportation, Maritime and Communication Minister Binali Yildirim. The congress is also expected to host over 67,000 visitors, including 3,000 CEOs from nearly 200 countries. A delegation from the ITO is set to met with Chairman of GSMA John Hoffman and the management to host the congress which makes a contribution of €300 million to the economy of Barcelona.
