MOU signed between stock exchanges of Istanbul and Bahrain
As part of the third Istanbul Finance Summit (IFS), a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) and Bahrain Stock Exchange (BSE) in order to boost current cooperation between the two stock exchanges and provide new investment opportunities. The agreement was signed by IMKB Chairman Ibrahim Turhan and BSE Director Fouad Rahman Rashid in Istanbul yesterday. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Turhan said that IMKB attached special importance to relations with Gulf countries. "We foresee that the region will play an important role in the future of our stock exchange. We are glad to sign this MoU with Bahrain Stock Exchange," Turhan said.
