Istanbul's Mountain Film Festival is set for an overseas trip this year. The festival will travel to France, where it will be featured as guest of honor at the Autrans International Festival of Mountain and Adventure Films, the festival's organizers announced on Thursday. The move comes as part of the ongoing Season of Turkey in France series of cultural events, which features around 400 artistic and cultural activities in more than 70 cities around the country and runs through next February. Turkish documentaries on mountaineering and nature will be screened during the event, which will also feature a photography exhibit curated by Ersin Alok.
