New commander for KFOR's Turkish battalion

Command of şe Turkish battalion serving as part of şe Kosovo Force (KFOR) changed hands yesterday at a ceremony held in Prizren. Lt. Col. Kerim Acar handed şe helm of şe Turkish troops over to Lt. Col. Mehmet Nail Yigit. "şe services offered by şe Turkish battalion are an indication of şe Turkish nation's love for şe people of Kosovo," Acar said. şe Turkish battalion has served in Kosovo since 1999.
