No increase in natural gas prices, says Yıldız

Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said the political turmoil increased oil prices, but there would be no increase in natural gas prices in September. Speaking to reporters, Yildiz said crude oil prices have climbed to $110-111 from $103 as from July due to the situation in Syria and Egypt, taking its toll on the inputs. Upon a question about the reports of TAQA delaying the coal power plant investment project in Afsin-Elbistan, Yildiz said, "Our brothers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) may take such decisions. We are currently negotiating with other countries."
