Obama sends two congratulation messages to Gul

US President Barack Obama sent two separate messages to President Abdullah Gul on the occasion of Turkey's Republic Day and the Feast of Sacrifice, namely, Eid al-Ahda. Obama congratulated Gul on the 89th anniversary of the Republic Day and stressed that Turkey and the US worked together on current issues in the region and future tests. Obama also indicated the special role played by the Turkish society in the US in terms of the enrichment of relations between the two countries. In his message on Eid al-Ahda, Obama wished Gul and the Turkish people a happy Feast and underlined that this occasion was crucial to help the needy.
