Speaking to reporters in Ashgabat, Deputy Foreign Minister Naci Koru said on Tuesday that Ottoman colonnades at the Kabba in Saudi Arabia would be carried to another location by a private company as part of an expansion work there. Stating that the Saudi Arabian administration attaches great importance to Ottoman colonnades, Koru said, "Some of the colonnades are moved to another division within the Harem Sherif. The transportation process has been launched. A Turkish company is carrying out the work. They have said that they would keep the colonnades at another location for now, and make the place more proper and then move them to a location within the Harem Sherif which has been previously scheduled."
