As part of his talks in Mongolia, Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin over the weekend attended Mongolian National Day celebrations in Ulan Bator as the guest of honor. Celebrations at the capital's Central Stadium started with a speech by Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdori. After opening speeches, Sahin, along with his Mogolian counterpart Damdin Demberel and Premier Sukhbaatar Batbold, watched horse-riding and archery shows. During the ceremonies, all of the top three Mongolian officials were dressed in traditional clothes. Mongolia's Naadam national day festival also traditionally includes wrestling and takes place around the dates July 11-13.
