PM Erdogan sent a letter about Izmir's expo 2020 bid

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a letter to Vincente Gonzalez Loscertales, Secretary General of the Bureau International des Expositions, or BIE, to apply for the Aegean city of Izmir to be a candidate to host the Expo 2020. "In the name of Turkish Government, I would like to present the application of Izmir to be a candidate to host the Expo 2020 for the term of April 30- October 31, 2020." Erdogan said.  Erdogan, in his letter, assured the BIE that Turkey would fulfill all of its obligations and form an inter-enterprise executive committee headed by related Minister of State.
