Prince Philippe of Belgium hosted by Gul, Sahin and Erdogan

Prince Philippe of Belgium, who is paying an "economic mission visit" to Turkey, yesterday firstly visited Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin at his office in Ankara and held a meeting with him which was closed to the press. As part of his contacts in Turkey, Prince Philippe also visited Ataturk’s Mausoleum along with his Princess Mathilde, where he also laid a wreath and signed the guest book. Prince Philippe then proceeded to the Cankaya Presidential Palace, where he was welcomed by President Abdullah Gul with a ceremony. After having a tete-a-tete with Prince Philippe, Gul hosted a luncheon in the honor of him, which was also attended by Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, Deputy Foreign Minister Naci Koru and Turkish Union and Chambers of Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu. Afterwards, Prince Philippe met with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan later in the day. The meeting which was held at the Prime Minister’s office was closed to the press.
