Putin set to arrive in Turkey today
Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to arrive in Istanbul today to attend the Turkey-Russian High Level Cooperation Council to be chaired by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the meeting, political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries, as well as cooperation in fields of technology and energy and nuclear energy issues will be discussed. Prior to the meeting, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to remove disagreements between the two countries which have emerged with regard to the Syrian issue.
