Putin set to visit Turkey on Monday
Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a formal visit to Istanbul, Turkey on December 3 to participate in a meeting of the Turkey-Russia High Level Cooperation Council. A statement from the Kremlin Palace said that bilateral relations, trade, economy, investments, intercultural and humanitarian relations, implementation of joint strategic projects in the field of energy and banking will be discussed in meetings to be attended by Putin. On the sidelines of the summit, parties will also discuss regional and international issues, including the Middle East, Balkans, Caucasian and Central Asia. The statement added that Putin and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold separate meetings with Turkish and Russian businesspeople and the two countries will sign several agreements during Putin’s visit as well.
