Returning from Brussels, TRNC's Talat makes suprise stopover in Ankara

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Mehmet Ali Talat yesterday paid a surprise visit to Ankara and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the meeting, which Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu also attended, Talat spoke of recent developments in Cyprus peace negotiations. While in Ankara , Talat also spoke at a gathering of Turkish diplomats. Talat was returning from a visit to European Commission Chairman Jose Manuel Barroso in Brussels .
