Russian President Medvedev due in Turkey today

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will visit Turkey today. Medvedev will meet with his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul and then will receive Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin. During the visit, agreements to relax visa requirements between the two countries and establish a high-level cooperation council chaired by Medvedev and Erdogan are expected.
