Sabanci Holdings executive board President Guler Sabancı received the Clionton global citizen award

Guler Sabanci, Chairperson of Sabanci Holding and the Board of Trustees of the Sabanci Foundation, has been presented the Clinton Global Citizen Award on behalf of the Clinton Global Initiative which was established by former US President Bill Clinton. Addressing a group of audience including US President Barack Obama at the award ceremony in New York, Clinton conveyed his thanks to Guler Sabanci for her contributions to promoting the human rights of women and girls and supporting the social, cultural and economic development of Turkey within the platform of "Girls Not Brides."
