Seb-i Arus ceremony held at San Pacifico Latin Catholic Church

As part of ceremonies marking the 739th anniversary of the passing of the master of the Mevlevi Sufi order Mevlana Jalaladdin Rumi, a performance by the whirling dervishes from the Turkish Sufi Music Group of Revnak was held at the San Pacifico Latin Catholic Church on the Buyukada Island of Istanbul. Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor of the Adalar (Isles) district Mustafa Farsakoglu said that people from different beliefs and ethnic cultures succeed in living together in harmony. Stating that they would like to traditionalize such ceremonies which are held for the third time this year, Farsakoglu noted that he believed people could live together by enriching love throughout the world.
