Syrian opposition meets in Hatay

Burhan Galioun, president of the Syrian National Council (SNC), which is the largest umbrella organization of the Syrian opposition, yesterday held a secret meeting with Free Syrian Army head Col. Riad al-Asaad at a refugee camp in the south province of Hatay. During the meeting, Galioun said to al-Asaad that the SNC would always support the Free Syrian Army. According to an anonymous official from the SNC, leaders of both the political and military wings of Syrian opposition decided to work in cooperation and coordination with regard to all issues. The meeting was within the knowledge of Turkish Foreign Ministry, but an official from the ministry said that they did not have any details on the content of meeting.
