THY ranks the 14th airline rankings

Turkey's national air carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) ranked the 14th with its 180 airplanes in Airline Rankings which was made by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in terms of the number of passengers carried, flight points and number of airplanes in their fleets. As part of IATA rankings, American Delta Airlines was placed on top of the list with 709 planes and followed by FederalExpress (FedEx) with 692 planes and Lufthansa Airlines with 427 planes. THY, currently having 185 airplanes in its fleet, aims to reach 200 airplanes by the end of 2012 and 212 airplanes by the end of 2013.
