The Turkish-Hungarian Businessmen's Association (TUMISAD) was received by the Turkish-Ukrainian Businessmen's Association (TUID) in Budapest.  Stating that the trade volume between Turkey and Hungary amounted to $2.3 billion, TUMISAD Chiarman Osman Sahbaz said, "These figures don't reflect the real potential of the two countries. An official visit to be paid by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Hungary in February will be a turning point in relations between Turkey and Hungary. Turks are very excited now and ready to get into partnerships with the third countries." For his part, TUID Deputy Chairman Burak Pehlivan said that relations between Turkey and Ukraine have reached a peak and that relations would be further improved with the mutual removal of visa requirements.
