Turkey and Spain sign farms deal

Turkish Minister of Agriculture, Food and Animal Breeding Mehdi Eker has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoA) on technical, scientific and economic cooperation in agriculture with his Spanish counterpart Miguel Arias Canete. Speaking in a press conference prior to signature ceremony, Eker said that signing of the MoA would be an important step to maintain the cooperation between Turkey and Spain in agriculture in a regular and systematic way. Eker also reiterated that the two countries have been working in cooperation as part of the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM).
