Turkey changes "chemistry of Egypt"

Istanbul Chemistry Exporters' Association Chairman of the Board Murat Akyuz stated that the year 2012 was a success for chemistry sector of Turkey and the sector exported mostly to Egypt last year. "Last year our exports to Egypt increased by 64% to reach $2 billion, compared to the year 2011. We have made exports mostly to Egypt totaling $349 million in the first two months of this year as well," Akyuz said. Stating that Turkey's geographical location and closeness to energy resources yield a great many advantages, Akyuz said that now they aim to carry out exports to new markets such as Far East and Asia, South America and Sub-Saharan Africa.
