Turkey set to start talks on Sinop nuclear plant in Japan next week

Turkey will discuss a planned nuclear plant in Sinop with Japanese officials next week, said Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz yesterday. Speaking during a meeting with World Energy Council head Christoph Frei and Sureyya Yucel Ozden, the head of the World Energy Council's Turkish National Committee, Yildiz said that in addition to Japan , they will also look at proposals from other countries. "Currently there are three teams from the Energy Ministry working on three different issues," he said.
