Professor Omer Ozkan, who has been recently mentioned often thanks to his successful face transplant operations, has performed a miracle again. The face of a Polish tourist who has died of heart attack during his holiday in the Aegean province of Mugla was successfully transplanted to a Turkish patient at Akdeniz University hospital. This was the fifth example of such an operation that took place in the country. "Our team performed five face transplant operations so far and donors were foreigners in two of them. We have become professionals in this issue, and thus we can easily manage it," Ozkan said at a press conference held after the operation.
