Turkish Airlines to initiate direct flights to Argentina

Turkey's national air carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) is set to launch direct flights to Argentina in two years. Accordingly, a good-will agreement was signed by the THY and Argentinean Tourism Ministry the General Directorate building of the airlines company.  Speaking at the signing ceremony, THY Director General Temel Kotil said, "THY will begin direct flights between Turkey and Argentina in two years with two flights in a day." For his part, Argentinean Tourism Minister Enrique Meyer said that they would connect Buenos Aries with Istanbul, as well as other cities in Turkey, thanks to the agreement.
