Turkish and Iraqi civil aviation authorities sign cooperation agreement
A cooperation agreement has been signed by Turkish and Iraqi civil aviation authorities in order to raise the amount of flights and to carry out new flight destinations between the two countries. Within the framework of the agreement, Turkish airline companies will be taking up flights from Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya to Iraqi cities of Baghdad and Irbil. As per the statement from Turkey's Civil Aviation Authority, the airline will be initiating flights from a Turkey to Iraq's Basra, Najaf, Sulaymaniyah and Mosul provinces and the for time being, Iraqi airline will take up flights from an Iraqi city as per their choice to Turkish provinces that includes Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Izmir and Gaziantep, further adding up the destination in near the future.
