Turkish company launches construction of Iraq power plants

Turkey's Calik Holding held a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday for the construction of a power plant in the Karbala city in northern Iraq. "We are feeling ourselves at home in Iraq. We will complete the construction as scheduled and deliver it to the Iraqi authorities in the best shape," Calik's CEO Ahmet Calik told the ceremony.
