Turkish, Italian railway administrations to cooperate in mideast, Asia

The Turkish State Railways (TCDD) and Italian State Railways (FS) yesterday signed an agreement in Rome to cooperate in projects in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. Under the deal, the two railway administrations will collaborate to evaluate opportunities in the Middle East and Asia, and carry out feasibility studies and cooperate in management, project design, maintenance, technical support and training. TCDD head Suleyman Karaman and FS head Mauro Moretti signed the agreement on behalf of their companies.
