Turkish national kidnapped in Lebanon

The Lebanese Miqdad tribe stated yesterday that it has kidnapped more than 20 people, including Syrian opposition members and fighters with the Free Syrian Army, in retaliation to the arrest of Hassan al-Meqdad, one of their tribesmen, by the Free Syrian Army inside Syria. A Turkish national was among those who were kidnapped. Turkey’s Foreign Ministry identified the Turkish national as Aydin Tufan Tekin, and said "intense efforts were underway" for his safe release.
