Turkish Olympiads close with ceremony

The closing ceremony of the 11th Turkish Olympics, organized by the International Turkish Association (TURKCEDER), was held at Istanbul's Ataturk Olympics Stadium with the participation of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday.  Speaking at ceremony, Erdogan said, "We all want a more livable world. We all want peace. All of us are longing for a world where children are not killed, mothers do not cry, fathers are not killed in clashes, people are not excluded and despised." Addressing the participants of Turkish Olympics Erdogan said that they have showed and recalled beauty in hard times. Praising the organizers of the event and thousands of Turkish teachers who contributed to spread of use of Turkish as a global language abroad, Erdogan said the struggle was for reaching world peace. The 11th Turkish Olympics hosted about two thousand students from 140 countries since June 1.
