UK's Cameron urges stronger ties with Turkey, one of the world's fast-growing economies

Speaking to Sky TV over the weekend, British Prime Minister David Cameron said his government wants to revamp Britain's foreign policy to reach out to the world's fastest-growing economies, including Turkey. Stating that Britain wants to boost its military, economic and diplomatic importance on the global stage, Cameron said, "Together with Foreign Secretary William Hague, we're renovating our foreign policy so that we have connections with the fastest-growing economies of the world. Towards this end, I've visited Turkey, India and China."
